Water Delivery Sandspit
Fast, reliable delivery right on our doorstep
Sandspit is just a few minutes from our base on Duck Creek Road, so it’s one of the easiest areas for us to reach. Matakana Water delivers 12,000 litre loads of pure aquifer water to homes around the marina, the ferry terminal and the wider Sandspit area.
Order before 5pm and we’ll deliver the same day where possible. Order after 5pm and it’ll be with you the next day.
Need water sooner? Our community tap is open to everyone
Our honesty-box community tap is at 11 Duck Creek Road, Warkworth — just a short hop from Sandspit. Fill up bottles or containers any time, on an honesty-box system. It’s the same aquifer water we deliver by the truckload.
The same water, straight from our own aquifer
We draw our own water from a 170-metre deep, confined sandstone aquifer beneath our family-owned land — not from a shallow local bore. It’s naturally filtered, free of iron and manganese, and we don’t add any chemicals or preservatives. Learn more about our water.
What it costs
Our 12,000 litre Big Blue truck starts from $320 delivered, with the final price depending on distance, demand and day (Sundays and public holidays cost a little more). Enter your Sandspit address on the order page for an exact quote.
Also serving the wider area
As well as Sandspit itself, we regularly deliver to Warkworth, Kaipara Flats, Snells Beach and the rest of the Matakana Coast. If you’re just outside these areas, give us a call — we may still be able to help.
$20 to a local charity, every order
When you order, you can choose to have Matakana Water donate $20 to a local charity or community group at no extra cost to you. To date we’ve given over $25,000 back to groups across the Matakana Coast, Sandspit included.
